I think that has a function as a curricular evaluation (gauge achievement of course objectives), instructional (gauges achievement of the objectives of teaching and learning process), diagnostic (knowing the weaknesses of students, cure or completion of students' learning difficulties), palacement (placement of students according to their talents and interests, and abilities), and administrative BP (the diverse problems faced by students and alternaif guidance and its extension).
Evaluation also has many different purposes, such as I'm concerned is
1. Determine the rate of progress or learning outcomes to students, serves as a: Reports to parents / guardians of students, determining the increase in class, determination graduation.
2. Placement of students into appropriate learning situations and in harmony with the level of ability, interests and characteristics possessed yan.
3. Know the background of the students (psychological, physical, and environmental) that are useful both for placement and determining the causes of students' learning difficulties, which serves as input for task guidance and counseling (BP).
4. As feedback for teachers, which in turn can be used to improve the teaching and learning process and remedial programs for students.
